PSH Mobile Mechanic Services

Expertise that comes to you.

Local mobile mechanic support from PSH for suitable jobs, with appointments subject to availability. We are building an independent mechanic network to support enquiries we cannot take on directly.

Across the South West

Servicing. Diagnostics. Repairs.

PSH’s founder is a working mobile mechanic as well as a qualified vehicle technician. Mobile servicing, diagnostics and repairs can be arranged at your home or workplace, subject to access, suitability and availability.

Include your postcode, vehicle details and a short description of the work. PSH can undertake suitable jobs directly or pass enquiries to an independent mechanic to help with coverage, specialist requirements or availability. Some jobs require workshop facilities; the mechanic will confirm what can be completed on site.

PSH prices: The first hour is £90 including VAT (£75 + VAT) and includes travel time. Travel uses part of that hour; the remaining time is available for diagnosis or agreed work. Further time is £78 per hour including VAT (£65 + VAT), billed in 15-minute increments at £19.50 including VAT (£16.25 + VAT) per additional 15 minutes or part thereof. Parts and any other charges are confirmed before booking. Payment for PSH work is due on completion. Finance options are not currently available. Independent mechanics confirm their own rates.

02 / CONNECT

Check availability

PSH checks whether we can carry out the job directly. If we cannot, we may be able to introduce an independent mechanic where a suitable network member is available. The network is being developed; an enquiry does not guarantee an appointment.

03 / AGREE

Know who is doing the work

Before booking, we confirm who will provide the service, the agreed charges and who will issue the quote and invoice. When we introduce an independent mechanic, you agree the work and payment directly with that mechanic.

About PSH Collective

Built on practical automotive expertise.

PSH Collective brings together vehicle storage, mobile mechanic services and specialist tuning enquiries, led by a qualified vehicle technician who also works as a mobile mechanic.

Our foundations

A technician by trade.
A personal approach to service.

PSH Collective is led by a qualified vehicle technician and working mobile mechanic. That hands-on experience shapes the way the whole business works.

That background includes diagnostic work for a leading German performance vehicle brand, work at master technician level and specialist training on high-performance models.

It brings a practical understanding of vehicle care, maintenance and the importance of matching each job with the right expertise. Across the collective, the aim is clear advice, straightforward communication and arrangements suited to the customer’s vehicle and requirements.

The PSH approach

One collective.
A considered approach.

From a cherished vehicle in storage to a repair at home or a tuning enquiry, each service starts with understanding what the customer needs.

PSH personally manages vehicle storage, carries out suitable mobile mechanic work and can pass enquiries to independent mobile mechanics. Tuning enquiries are connected with EPR Tuning. Customers are told who will carry out the service, with responsibilities and arrangements agreed before work begins.

How can we help?

Choose a service and tell us what you need. We will use your details to respond and discuss the next steps.

PSH uses the details you provide to respond to your request. Read our privacy notice for details of how we use your information and your rights.

Common questions

Before you enquire.

Where is PSH storage based?

In the Barnstaple, North Devon area. Visits and vehicle handovers strictly by prior appointment. Arrival instructions are provided when your appointment is confirmed.

Can customers access vehicles whenever they want?

The service is managed and appointment-only. Drop-offs and collections are arranged in advance.

Does an enquiry commit me to storage?

No. An initial enquiry does not require payment or commit you to storage. We will discuss your vehicle, requirements, availability and the proposed arrangement with you first.

Is pricing published online?

Car and motorcycle storage are paid monthly in advance, with a minimum storage period of one month. Collection is by prior appointment and requires at least 24 hours’ notice. Indoor motorcycle storage starts from £72 per month including VAT (£60 + VAT) and includes ground anchoring. Battery maintenance is optional, with any additional cost confirmed before booking. Car storage pricing is discussed individually after an enquiry, depending on your vehicle, storage period and the services you require. Any additional services are quoted separately before you agree to them.

What insurance arrangements apply?

We will confirm the applicable insurance position, terms and any limits with you before storage begins. Please tell your own motor insurer about the proposed storage arrangements.

Is PSH self-storage?

No. PSH provides a managed vehicle storage service. Customers do not rent or sublet individual areas of the premises and access is by prior appointment.

What security information is published?

Detailed site-security arrangements are discussed privately where appropriate. The registered office is disclosed in the company information; visits and vehicle handovers are strictly by prior appointment.

Do I need to live in North Devon?

No. We welcome enquiries from owners elsewhere in the UK, including people who keep a vehicle near a second home or holiday property in North Devon. Handover and collection are arranged by appointment.

What vehicles do you accept?

PSH welcomes motorcycles as well as prestige, performance, classic, collector, weekend and cherished cars. Other vehicles can be considered individually.

What care can be provided while my vehicle is stored?

Depending on the vehicle and agreed requirements, care can include battery conditioning, tyre-pressure monitoring, visible fluid and leak checks, general visual checks, periodic updates and photographs, and preparation before collection.

Can you arrange an MOT, service or detailing?

Yes. With the owner's approval, PSH can coordinate suitable external providers for MOTs, routine servicing, specialist work, detailing and vehicle transport. These are additional services and third-party charges may apply. The storage facility itself is not operated as a repair workshop.

How long can I store my vehicle?

Both shorter and longer-term requirements can be discussed. The appropriate arrangement is agreed directly with each owner and is subject to availability.

Will my vehicle be driven?

Vehicles are not routinely used on public roads as part of storage. Any movement or additional activity outside the normal storage arrangement would require the owner's agreement and appropriate insurance/authorisation.

PSH Collective • Customer information

Service terms.

Clear arrangements for work carried out by PSH and introductions to independent mechanics.

Updated 3 October 2026. These terms cover PSH mobile mechanic services. Storage arrangements are set out below and confirmed in your booking agreement. EPR Tuning provides its own service terms.

Who you are booking with

For work supplied by PSH, your contract is with Pit Stop Hub Ltd, trading as PSH Collective, company number 17308545. Our registered office is shown in the footer. Contact: enquiries@pshstorage.co.uk.

For a referral, we identify the independent mechanic before you book. That mechanic agrees the repair contract, provides the quote, carries out the work and invoices you directly. Their terms apply to their service. PSH remains responsible for its own introduction service and statements.

1. Enquiries and confirmation

Submitting an enquiry does not create a repair booking or authorise work. For PSH work, a booking is formed when you accept our written quote or agreed scope and these terms, and we confirm acceptance in writing. Before acceptance we provide the supplier identity, scope, location, agreed timing, price or calculation method, payment arrangements and applicable cancellation information. You receive a copy of the agreed terms and confirmation that you can keep.

2. Quotes, diagnosis and additional work

Our current rates for work supplied directly by PSH are £90 including VAT (£75 + VAT) for the first hour, including travel time, followed by £78 per hour including VAT (£65 + VAT) for further time. Travel uses part of the included first hour; the remaining time is available for diagnosis or agreed work. Further hourly charging begins once the included first hour has been used. Further time is billed in 15-minute increments at £19.50 including VAT (£16.25 + VAT) per additional 15 minutes or part thereof. Before booking, we confirm the expected travel and work time. Parts and any other applicable charges are identified separately before acceptance. The rates above include VAT at 20%. The agreed total includes any applicable compulsory charges. We distinguish a fixed quote from an estimate.

Diagnosis is an agreed service and does not guarantee the repair can be completed during the visit. We explain any agreed diagnostic charge and scope beforehand. We seek your approval for additional labour, parts or costs before undertaking extra work. If you decline, you remain responsible only for work and charges already properly agreed. Rates may be reviewed for future bookings as operating costs change. The rate and scope agreed for an accepted booking remain applicable to that booking; any proposed variation or additional work requires your approval before we proceed. Independent mechanics set and confirm their own prices.

3. Safe access and suitable work

You must be authorised to approve work on the vehicle. Tell us about relevant faults, previous repairs or modifications and provide a safe, accessible working location with permission to use it. Some work requires workshop facilities. If conditions are unsafe or the job is unsuitable for a mobile visit, we discuss alternatives and any charges already agreed; no undisclosed attendance penalty applies.

4. Parts and payment

The quote or booking confirmation specifies the parts to be supplied and any agreed treatment of customer-supplied parts. We may decline unsuitable parts. Any parts restrictions do not remove your statutory rights or our responsibility for workmanship.

Payment for work supplied by PSH is due on completion. Finance options are not currently available. Any deposit is agreed before booking, credited against the agreed price and subject to your cancellation rights. PSH invoices its own work. Following an independent referral, the mechanic invoices and receives payment for the repair directly.

5. Cancellation and changing an appointment

Where a statutory cancellation right applies to a distance or off-premises service contract, you have 14 days after the day the contract is made to cancel. Tell us clearly by email or post; you may use the model form below but do not have to. Where due, refunds are made within the applicable statutory period, generally 14 days after we are informed, using the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.

If you want work to begin within that period, we obtain your express request before starting. For an off-premises contract, that request is recorded in a form you can keep. If you then cancel before completion, a proportionate charge may be due for work provided, but only where the legal conditions and required information have been met.

You lose that cancellation right after full performance only where you expressly requested the early start and acknowledged beforehand that full performance would end the right. Exceptions can apply, including qualifying urgent repairs specifically requested by you; we explain any applicable exception rather than treating every mobile visit as urgent.

For other appointment changes or cancellations, contact us as soon as possible. Any charge must have been disclosed, be fair and reflect justified loss after allowing for costs saved or replacement work. A statutory right is not replaced by an appointment policy.

6. Quality and complaints

We provide PSH work with reasonable care and skill. Tell us promptly if you believe there is a problem, with the vehicle details, booking reference and a description. We will discuss inspection and an appropriate remedy without restricting your consumer rights. If a vehicle may be unsafe, stop using it and contact the service provider.

For independent repairs, contact the mechanic first; PSH can help with communication. Contact PSH directly about our referral handling or information we supplied. If a complaint cannot be resolved, we provide any alternative dispute resolution information required by law, including whether we will participate.

7. Responsibility and your rights

These terms do not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or your statutory consumer rights. PSH is responsible for work it contracts to supply, including where it engages another mechanic to fulfil that PSH contract. A referral is identified separately before booking.

8. Your information

Our privacy notice explains enquiry handling and your rights. Permission to share a referral is separate from agreeing a repair booking and does not authorise marketing.

Vehicle storage arrangements

Car and motorcycle storage are paid monthly in advance, with a minimum storage period of one month. Car storage is quoted individually according to the vehicle, storage period and agreed services. Motorcycle storage starts from £72 per month including VAT (£60 + VAT), including ground anchoring. Optional battery maintenance and other care are priced and agreed separately.

Arrival and collection are by prior appointment. At least 24 hours’ notice is required for vehicle collection. Customers must inform their vehicle insurer of the storage location and confirm that their cover remains valid during storage.

Before storage begins, we confirm the agreed care, charges, insurance arrangements and conditions for ending or changing the booking in writing. The collection notice is an appointment requirement. Any applicable statutory cancellation rights remain unaffected.

PSH Collective • Privacy

Your information, handled with care.

How we use information about customers, enquiries and independent mechanic network applicants.

Updated 3 October 2026.

Who is responsible?

Pit Stop Hub Ltd (company number 17308545), trading as PSH Collective, is responsible for personal information it collects and uses for its own services and enquiry handling. Registered office: Unit F, Pilland Business Park, Pottington, EX31 1QW. Contact us at enquiries@pshstorage.co.uk with privacy questions or requests.

What information we collect

For enquiries, we collect the information you provide: name, email address, telephone number, vehicle details (including a registration number if you provide it), postcode or area, preferred timing and your service requirements. For mechanic network applications, this may also include business details, experience, coverage and relevant insurance information. Only provide information relevant to your request; avoid sending identity documents or sensitive personal information through the general enquiry form.

Why we use information and our lawful bases

  • Direct PSH services: responding to requests for a quote, arranging bookings and providing agreed vehicle storage or mobile mechanic services, where necessary to take steps at your request before entering a contract or to perform that contract.
  • General enquiries and network applications: our legitimate interests in responding to enquiries, assessing potential network participants and administering our business, while considering your rights and reasonable expectations.
  • Referrals: your consent to share relevant enquiry information with a suitable independent mechanic or EPR Tuning. Referral permission is requested separately and is not permission for marketing.
  • Required records: legal obligations where these apply, for example keeping relevant tax and accounting records.

Vehicle registration searches

If you choose to use the vehicle lookup, we send the registration number you enter to Zyfy, our vehicle-data provider, to obtain basic vehicle information for your enquiry. We do this at your request to help identify the vehicle and prepare a response. The lookup does not send your name, telephone number or email address to Zyfy, and does not provide vehicle keeper details. You can enter vehicle details manually instead. Please check any returned details before submitting your enquiry.

Independent mechanics and EPR Tuning

PSH carries out suitable mobile mechanic work directly and may also introduce customers to independent mechanics. We will explain the proposed referral and share relevant contact, vehicle, location and job information only after obtaining your permission. Tuning enquiries submitted using this form are sent directly to EPR Tuning at enquiries@eprtuning.co.uk after you expressly agree to share your contact details, vehicle information and tuning requirements. The sharing box is not pre-ticked. Without that permission, this form will not send your tuning enquiry; you can contact PSH to discuss your request or email EPR directly instead. For independent mechanic referrals, sharing remains optional and PSH can discuss your enquiry with you first.

Independent providers are responsible for their own use of information when they quote, arrange or carry out work directly for you. Their privacy information applies to that processing. We do not share enquiry details for unrelated marketing.

Service providers and other disclosures

Website hosting, email delivery and other providers supporting PSH may process information needed to supply those services. Where they act on our behalf, appropriate data processing arrangements are required. Information may also be disclosed where required by law or where necessary and lawful to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

How long we keep information

Retention depends on why the information is held. Enquiry information is retained while we respond and resolve the request, then reviewed for deletion when it is no longer needed. Customer and transaction records are retained for the applicable contractual, legal, accounting and claims requirements. Network application information is retained while an application is assessed; ongoing participant records are retained for administration of the relationship and applicable obligations. Records of referral permission are retained as needed to demonstrate the authorisation and handle related requests. Each record should be reviewed when its purpose ends; information must not be kept indefinitely just because it might be useful.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances and the lawful basis used, you may request access to your information, correction, deletion, restriction of processing or transfer of eligible information. These rights are subject to applicable conditions and exemptions.

You have the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests. We must consider your objection and stop unless a lawful basis for continuing applies.

Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time by emailing us. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before you withdrew. Where a provider already holds information as an independent controller, you may also need to contact that provider about its processing.

Contact enquiries@pshstorage.co.uk to exercise your rights. You may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) if you are concerned about how your information is handled.

Information needed to respond

You choose whether to submit an enquiry. Without sufficient contact or job information, we may be unable to respond, assess suitability or arrange the service you requested. Unnecessary information should not be requested.
